We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Photonics Project Director to lead our team in the development and implementation of photonic integrated circuits (PICs) for various high-tech applications. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in project management, strong technical knowledge, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities- Manage end-to-end projects from planning to completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technology, operations, sales, and external partners to align on technology development goals and timelines.
- Develop and implement mitigation plans for technical and operational risks, ensuring financial targets are met and cost-saving opportunities are identified.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Physics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in project management within the semiconductor industry, with a proven track record of managing complex technology development projects.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, familiarity with silicon photonics or III-V semiconductor materials is a plus.
- PMP certification or similar is desirable.
- A competitive salary of around €80,000 - €110,000 per year, depending on experience.
