Job Title: Nuclear Safety Engineer

Steris, a leading global provider of healthcare and life sciences products and services, is seeking a Nuclear Safety Engineer to join our team. As part of our Nuclear Safety team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining a safe environment for our operations.

  • Conduct thorough safety analyses and identify protection requirements to ensure a secure working environment
  • Ensure strict compliance with radiation protection regulations and guidelines
  • Develop and update operational documents to maintain a high level of quality and safety
  • Maintain and improve quality management processes to ensure excellence in our operations
  • Provide comprehensive training on nuclear safety and waste management to our team members
  • Address and resolve non-conformities and significant events in a timely and effective manner
  • Coordinate safety actions and participate in safety reviews to ensure a proactive approach to risk management
  • Assist in procurement activities to ensure the acquisition of high-quality products and services

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in nuclear safety and protection
  • Strong project management and cross-functional team management skills
  • Excellent written communication and analytical abilities
  • Fluency in English
