Job Title: Nuclear Safety Engineer
Steris, a leading global provider of healthcare and life sciences products and services, is seeking a Nuclear Safety Engineer to join our team. As part of our Nuclear Safety team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining a safe environment for our operations.
- Conduct thorough safety analyses and identify protection requirements to ensure a secure working environment
- Ensure strict compliance with radiation protection regulations and guidelines
- Develop and update operational documents to maintain a high level of quality and safety
- Maintain and improve quality management processes to ensure excellence in our operations
- Provide comprehensive training on nuclear safety and waste management to our team members
- Address and resolve non-conformities and significant events in a timely and effective manner
- Coordinate safety actions and participate in safety reviews to ensure a proactive approach to risk management
- Assist in procurement activities to ensure the acquisition of high-quality products and services
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in nuclear safety and protection
- Strong project management and cross-functional team management skills
- Excellent written communication and analytical abilities
- Fluency in English
