About Kotplanet

Kotplanet is a pioneering digital media platform dedicated to the lives of students in Belgium. As a pure player media, we cater exclusively to students aged 18 to 27, providing a unique perspective on their daily experiences.

Our Mission

We aim to engage with our target audience, the Z generation, by creating a committed universe and an involved community. Our tone of voice is distinct, and we've successfully established a co-creation process that involves our audience in content development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the growth of the NL editorial division with the team
  • Develop and expand the global Dutch-speaking audience of Kotplanet
  • Recruit and manage student co-creators for content development
  • Organize the translation of existing content and prepare it for publication
  • Participate in the creation of the NL editorial tone of voice and ensure its editorial quality
  • Introduce Kotplanet within Dutch-speaking student communities, schools, and universities
  • Analyze strategies implemented with FR content and ensure their transposition to NL
  • Participate in the development and growth of the Kotplanet brand at the national level and represent it
  • Provide content and creative support to sales teams for campaigns in NL
  • Write engaging content on a daily basis to help Kotplanet stand out in the digital world
  • Propose social media ideas to promote content around students
  • Be the contact person for those wishing to publish content at Kotplanet
Requirements
  • Fluency in French and Dutch (English is a plus)
  • Master's degree in communication, journalism, public relations, or management with a strong interest in writing and marketing
  • Knowledge of the Flemish Region and student life
  • Desire to join a young brand expanding nationally
  • Willingness to invest 100% in the success of Kotplanet
  • Highly organized and rigorous, with the ability to prioritize and work independently
  • Team player with a passion for digital media
  • Perfect spelling and basic knowledge of digital marketing, social media, and SEO
