Groupe SAVAC is seeking a dedicated treasury accountant to join our finance team. This role will report directly to the Deputy CFO and is essential for maintaining the financial health of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
Cash Management:
Oversee the daily receipt of bank statements, ensuring they are communicated to the accounting team and integrated into our financial systems. Manage daily cash-related transactions, including customer accounting communications. Process transfers as required, including salary advances and supplier payments. Notify relevant parties of any unusual transactions, such as rejected transfers or outstanding payments.Predictive Cash Management:
Input forecasted cash movements and verify the accuracy of forecasts submitted by accountants. Analyze daily cash forecasts against actual figures, making necessary adjustments or planning intra-group transfers as needed. Generate reports related to these transactions and share them with the appropriate stakeholders.Accounting Department Liaison:
Provide essential banking information, including bank statement downloads and service invoices, on a shared platform. Address all inquiries from the accounting department promptly.Collaborate with the finance team to establish supplier payment schedules and ensure compliance with payment processes.
Administrative Duties:
Serve as the primary contact for banks and financial institutions, working closely with the Director of Finance and Administration. Manage various contracts and amendments, including financing agreements and account management. Handle bank confirmations and oversee standing orders. Address bank disputes and respond to various requests, such as opening client or supplier accounts.Customer Accounting Oversight:
Supervise the Treasury Customer Service Provider team. Assist in the accounting entries for customer receipts across multiple software platforms. Engage in customer follow-up processes in collaboration with the Treasury CSP team. Contribute to resolving disputes with billing and sales departments.Candidate Profile
A degree in accounting with relevant experience in the field. Self-motivated, dependable, detail-oriented, and proactive. Excellent interpersonal skills, comfortable engaging with various stakeholders. Proficient in relevant computer applications.
