The Role

We are seeking a Senior Technology Trainer to join our Technology team, providing professional, high-level technology training to lawyers and professional staff in a variety of methods, including classroom learning, webinars, remote sessions, and one-to-one requests.

Responsibilities and Qualifications
  • Training Delivery: Provide assistance and training to end users on firm-approved applications, including classroom learning, webinars, remote sessions, and one-to-one requests.
  • Consultation and Collaboration: Consult with attorneys and business services staff to understand process and workflow, and identify areas where Latham Technology can provide support.
  • Training Needs Identification: Identify training needs and ensure that requests from individuals are offered the correct resources.
  • Training Materials Development: Prepare training materials, including handouts, follow-up notes, and written documentation.
  • Training Session Coordination: Coordinate and schedule training sessions, including booking relevant spaces, ensuring audio/visual mediums are prepared, confirming and recording attendance.
  • Global Training Alignment: Work with the Global Technology Training team to ensure a consistent level of training is delivered firmwide and assist with software upgrades, implementations, and wider projects.

We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about training and upskilling others, has the ability to communicate with a range of seniorities, and can deliver excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in training and/or teaching, ideally software, and working within a law firm or professional services environment.

Required skills include knowledge and proficiency in a wide variety of software programs, including Windows 10 and Microsoft Office (latest versions), document management systems, timekeeping software, and communications technologies (iManage, InTapp, and Microsoft Teams, specifically). Fluency in English and French is essential, with Spanish and/or Italian language skills highly desirable but not essential.
