Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Buyer to lead and manage purchasing activities for our cross-functional projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for sourcing, planning, and quality assurance, as well as risk management and supplier competency development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interact with the purchasing community, including buyers, SQEs, managers, and vice-presidents, to communicate project status and requirements.
  • Create initiatives and communicate success stories to engage stakeholders in the project.
  • Provide supplier competencies to the project team with the support of purchasing segment leaders.
  • Work closely with the project team to identify and mitigate risks, and develop strategies to ensure project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in purchasing or supply chain management within the automotive industry.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field, such as business administration, logistics, or supply chain management.
  • Strong understanding of purchasing challenges and ability to support project teams.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work independently, with a strong focus on results.
