We are on the lookout for a Freight Operations Specialist (M/F) for our Hausbergen facility.
Position: Freight Operations Specialist (M/F) - Permanent Contract
Embark on your journey with us through a paid 6-week training program at our training centers. All expenses related to accommodation, meals, and travel will be covered. Upon successful completion, you will transition to our Hausbergen facility.
As a Freight Operations Specialist, you will be integral to the secure transportation of goods nationwide. This multifaceted role demands strict compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Conducting essential inspections to verify train readiness prior to departure,
- Assembling the train units,
- Issuing maneuvering directives to the train operator,
- Managing track switches,
- Coupling and uncoupling rail cars in accordance with safety standards,
- Performing brake assessments with the train operator and completing necessary reports,
- When required, executing loading and unloading of rail cars using forklifts or similar equipment.
Candidate Profile:
We seek individuals with a CAP/ BEP or BAC/ BAC PRO up to a BAC+2 qualification. Essential attributes include punctuality, meticulousness, independence, quick thinking, teamwork capabilities, a valid driving license, and reliable transportation.
Working Environment:
This role involves outdoor work in a vibrant and engaging setting, with shifts that may include weekends and holidays.
