Your primary responsibility will be to achieve and surpass your sales targets by developing and executing strategic territory plans aimed at deploying the Palo Alto Networks Next Generation Security Platform. This role is ideal for a determined closer eager to capture business and expand market share by effectively displacing competing technologies. Your Impact
  • Collaborate on and contribute to comprehensive sales strategies.
  • Provide accurate and timely forecasts of current business with a focus on Customer Lifetime Value.
  • Develop a solid understanding of security threats, solutions, security tools, and network technologies.
  • Create value-driven opportunities to ensure a reliable book of business and enhance forecast accuracy.
  • Adopt a systematic approach to demand generation, development, and expansion of your territory.
  • In close collaboration with your Systems Engineer, implement F500 account selling strategies targeting both existing and new logo opportunities.
  • Articulate value propositions to clients and stakeholders that resonate with their specific needs and requirements.
  • Leverage all cross-functional resources to meet your sales quota, including inside sales, channel systems engineering, field marketing, cybersecurity sales specialists, and sales operations.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and news, and their implications for Palo Alto Networks products and services.
  • Travel as required within your territory and to company-wide meetings.
Your Experience
  • 7+ years of relevant experience.
  • Extensive experience selling to Security Operations Centers (SOC).
  • Familiarity with endpoint security, SIEM, vulnerability management, and automation tools.
  • A BS degree or equivalent military experience is required.
  • Dynamic presenter capable of translating technical concepts into accessible language.
  • Proven ability to cultivate and maintain strategic long-term relationships.
  • Understanding of how to utilize channel partners while also engaging directly with end customers.
  • Demonstrated capability to segment accounts across the territory and engage using the entire ecosystem, with a focus on partners and marketing.
  • Experience leading all aspects of the sales cycle, including uncovering, qualifying, developing, and closing new territories and accounts.
  • A history of consistently exceeding sales quotas for at least 8+ years.
  • Proven experience in a matrixed work environment.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • A successful track record in selling complex solutions directly to Fortune 500 clients.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work autonomously and self-direct.
  • Highly competitive, quick to ramp up, adaptable, and committed to exceeding production goals.
