EQUANS partners with manufacturers to ensure the success of their projects across various sectors, including agri-food, pharmaceuticals, chemistry, and energy, offering comprehensive services in pre-project phases, overall project management (EPCm), and turnkey solutions (EPC).

Your Role:

As a Senior Engineer in Pressure Vessel Technology, you will become an integral part of multidisciplinary teams working on APS / APD / EPCM projects within the chemistry, petrochemicals, oil, gas, and agrochemicals sectors.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing one or more boilermaking projects involving equipment such as reactors, columns, silos, hoppers, storage tanks, spheres, filters, separators, balloons, and heat exchangers.
  • Collaborating with various technical departments (project management, procurement, process engineering, safety, general installation, flexibility calculations, civil engineering, instrumentation, electrical engineering, and construction) as well as with clients.
  • Conducting mechanical pre-sizing of boiler equipment utilizing analytical calculations and/or finite element analysis tools.
  • Preparing documentation for tenders, including technical specifications, datasheets, guide plans, and particular specifications detailing supply descriptions and technical requirements.
  • Evaluating technical proposals from equipment suppliers and performing necessary clarifications to ensure alignment among offers.
  • Creating technical comparison tables to assist clients in supplier selection.
  • Compiling order-related documentation.
  • Monitoring supplier performance post-order, ensuring timely delivery of documents, compliance with specifications, and facilitating communication of comments between technical services and suppliers.
  • Conducting inspections of equipment at supplier facilities prior to delivery.
  • Providing support during construction and plant commissioning activities.

You may also be responsible for managing engineers and technicians on larger projects and may require travel to client industrial sites or supplier locations.

Incorporating Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental considerations into project designs is essential for this role.

Your Profile:

With a degree in engineering or a related field, you possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience, particularly in boilermaking calculations and analytical/finite element methods within the petroleum, chemical, or agrochemical sectors. A solid understanding of ATEX environments is essential.

Proficiency in standards and regulations related to the aforementioned equipment (ASME, TEMA, EN, CODAP, AD-, CODRES, API, etc.) is crucial, along with a general understanding of related technical fields such as piping, instrumentation, and structural engineering.

Familiarity with MS Office and MS Project is required.

Fluency in English is a must.
