Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide Frontend expertise within the Product/Scrum Team to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Support software design and implementation in alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
  • Act as the primary technical contact for team-owned solutions, managing day-to-day pressures effectively.
  • Oversee the technical stack and ensure adherence to code quality, coverage, and documentation standards.
  • Advocate for and implement best-in-class development principles such as Clean Code and DDD/BDD/TDD.
  • Encourage and support advanced development methodologies, including Pair Programming and Continuous Integration/Delivery.
  • Foster knowledge sharing regarding Frontend tools and technologies.
  • Be an active contributor to the Community of Practice.
  • Stay abreast of market trends through technological research, presenting and implementing beneficial innovations.
  • Assist the Team Manager in recruiting new talents for the Squad/Team.
  • Support the continuous development of team members, ensuring they remain current in their areas of expertise.

Qualifications & Skills:

Professional Qualification:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Frontend Tech Lead, ideally in a diverse, international setting.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, XP) and DevOps practices.

Professional Skills & Abilities:

  • A collaborative team player with the ability to build and nurture networks.
  • Adaptability to support team members in a changing environment.

Technical Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Tech Lead or Lead Developer.
  • Strong foundation in software design and development.
  • Familiarity with architectural design patterns, particularly Hexagonal architecture.
  • Knowledge of software craftsmanship principles.
  • At least 5 years of experience with JavaScript, including asynchronous programming and ES6 concepts.
  • At least 5 years of experience with frontend frameworks such as NextJs, React, or Angular.
  • At least 5 years of experience with HTML/CSS, focusing on layout, specificity, and accessibility.
  • Excellent technical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Understanding of REST API design, Microservices, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or AzureDevOps.
  • Proficiency in public cloud solutions.
