Your Role- Develop and enhance advanced numerical simulation tools used in various aerospace applications.
- Collaborate closely with industry partners to understand their specific needs and translate them into effective software solutions.
- Work within agile project environments, adhering to deadlines and providing regular progress updates on assigned tasks.
- Provide technical support and training to users of the developed software, ensuring its successful implementation and adoption.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong academic background and proven experience in scientific software development within the field of CFD.
Required Skills:- PhD or Engineer-PhD in numerical simulation, preferably with a focus on fluid dynamics.
- Demonstrated experience in developing scientific software, particularly in the area of high-performance computing (HPC) and CFD.
- In-depth understanding of various numerical schemes and their applications in CFD simulations.
- Familiarity with turbomachinery simulations is a significant advantage.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Fortran, C++ (C++11 or higher), Python, and libraries like Numpy, MPI, OpenMP, HDF5, CGNS, and Git/Gitlab.
- Experience with Cython, SymPy, and CUDA.
