As a Regulatory Science Manager, you will be part of our Taste & Wellbeing Global Regulatory Advocacy & Science Department, supporting the development and commercialization of new flavor and food ingredient solutions for plant alternative products.

You will collaborate closely with Scientists, Product Management, and regional Regulatory teams to ensure compliance with global registration requirements for flavor and food regulations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the T&S Head of Regulatory Advocacy and Science with scientific and technical contributions
  • Partnering with Science & Innovation to facilitate the commercialization of products
  • Regulatory and scientific review of new ingredients and processes developed by Science & Technology (S&T) group
  • Advising S&T on regulatory and scientific questions and providing trainings on regulatory topics
  • Understanding global registration requirements for flavor & food regulations to support compilation and filling of regulatory submissions
  • Managing scientific information to support projects
  • Collaborating with regional teams to gather and consolidate regulatory information from different jurisdictions
  • Staying informed about latest regulatory and scientific trends and industry changes, and proactively communicating updates to our organization

Requirements include:

  • University Degree (minimum Master) in a scientific field such as Food Science, Chemistry or related disciplines
  • 7 years of relevant regulatory experience in Flavours or Food or related industry
  • Knowledge of the food industry regulatory issues and trends, understanding of its customer regulatory requirements and market dynamics for food ingredients and flavourings
  • Strong communication (both written and oral)
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Problem-solving and Decision quality skills
  • Customer focus and Drive for results
  • Proactive mind-set
  • System proficiency, SAP experience is a plus
  • Business Fluency in English is required and proficiency in other languages is a plus
