About the Role

Safran Aircraft Engines is seeking a skilled Welder Chamber Technician to join our team in the Excellence Repair Chamber department. As a key member of our team, you will work in the Soldering / Reforming / Adjustment unit, responsible for performing high-quality welding and reforming tasks on aircraft engine components.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual TIG welding under argon on thin revolution plates for civil or military engine components, ensuring surface preparation prior to welding
• Reform cold plates manually or using semi-automatic hydraulic presses
• Adjust welds as needed
• Inspect welds and perform dimensional control measurements

Requirements and Qualifications

• Hold a CAP/BEP or Bac Pro degree with a technical focus, such as BAC Pro TCI - Technicien en Chaudronnerie Industrielle or a License in Aeronautical Welding
• Experience in TIG welding is required
• Knowledge of metallurgy and aeronautical materials is an asset
• Hold a NF ISO 24394 qualification (ideally)
