Nexwave is a business incubation vehicle that helps Amadeus turn new and uncertain concepts into tangible value for the industry.
We explore, de-risk, and incubate new solutions and capabilities to serve the long-term growth strategies of Amadeus business units. As an Architect, you will act as a software development engineer with additional responsibilities.You will define, drive, and maintain software architecture with respect to customer requirements and company objectives for a given system or subsystem.
Responsible for software development engineer activities (user requirements definition, technical solution design, coding, testing, software solutions debugging). Able to communicate complex information. Leveraging design thinking and lean processes to methodically define and validate value propositions. Responsible for software architecture throughout the lifecycle development, taking into consideration system constraints and enterprise architecture strategic directions.Document and present solution recommendations to all stakeholders, with the ability to explain complex technical information in simple ways to a diverse audience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Defining and maintaining software architecture
- Communicating complex information to stakeholders
- Leveraging design thinking and lean processes
- Documenting and presenting solution recommendations
