Key Responsibilities:

As an IT Systems Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Deploying software infrastructures, including servers, databases, software, and licensing.
  • Packaging engineering software.
  • Writing deployment procedures.
  • Setting up licensing systems and communicating with software editors.
  • Providing level 2 support for users of engineering software.
  • Communicating with software editors for incident resolution and deployment of new versions.
  • Managing the repository of available software versions and their associated licenses.
  • Participating in feedback and proposing solutions to facilitate the deployment of software to users.
  • Managing various software interfaces.
  • Calculating cluster administration, evaluation of hosted applications, monitoring of calculation nodes, deployment of security patches, and management of users and groups.

You will work closely with the head of computing resources to implement and maintain the company's IT systems.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in managing scientific computer tools.
  • Practical knowledge of scripting tools or deployment systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, both computer and functional.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to travel occasionally in France and abroad.
