About the Role

At RTÉ, we are seeking a highly skilled Telecommunications Technician to join our team at the Centre Maintenance Marseille. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our high-voltage electrical network in the PACA region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and maintain the telecommunications networks, control and command equipment, and energy consumption data for the Mediterranean region from a dedicated supervision room.
  • Pilot the operational maintenance of curative maintenance, performed remotely from the supervision room and by on-site teams.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of scheduled interventions (curative or project deployment).

About the Team

You will be part of a 20-person team at the CASTER (Centre d'Administration, de Supervision et Télémaintenance Régional), responsible for the following missions:

  • Supervise and maintain the telecommunications networks, control and command equipment, and energy consumption data for the Mediterranean region from a dedicated supervision room.
  • Pilot the operational maintenance of curative maintenance, performed remotely from the supervision room and by on-site teams.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of scheduled interventions (curative or project deployment).

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in telecommunications and electrical engineering, with experience in high-voltage electrical networks. You will also need to be proficient in French and English.
