Marketing Data Analyst

GoStudent is seeking a skilled Marketing Data Analyst to join our central Data Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our Business Intelligence infrastructure, overseeing data governance, and driving actionable insights to optimize marketing expenditures.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with Marketing leaders and stakeholders to shape marketing strategy through data-driven insights and impactful analysis.
- Provide and present reports that are actionable for business departments and support decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with Data Analysts and Data Engineers to build, maintain, and improve current dashboards, applying best Business Intelligence practices.
- Work with cross-functional teams to define, refine, organize, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) that align with business objectives.
- Design and develop Data Models that empower end-users to answer their own questions.
- Drive adaptation of new tools and technologies in the BI area to maintain a clean, accurate, and efficient data governance framework.
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst/Data Analyst or related role.
- Strong Marketing analytics background, with proven experience in digital marketing projects. Experience in attribution modeling is a plus.
- Proven proficiency in SQL, with strong experience in building clean and meaningful tables.
- Expert-level knowledge of Tableau with outstanding data storytelling skills.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, data governance principles, and ETL processes. Experience with DBT and Amazon Web Services or other cloud computing platforms is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and organizational qualities.
- Strong communication skills, and ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
