Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Contract Management Expert to become a vital part of our team at SMABTP. This role focuses on overseeing a portfolio of construction insurance agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and compile essential documentation while entering details for insurance requests,
  • Ensure adherence to underwriting standards,
  • Calculate contract premiums based on selected coverage options and deductibles for standard agreements,
  • Request technical evaluations for pricing specialized coverage extensions,
  • Prepare contracts according to established conditions,
  • Modify contract language as necessary,
  • Verify contract alignment with proposals,
  • Generate insurance certificates and guarantees,
  • Adjust coverage in response to Broker/insured requests by drafting appropriate endorsements,
  • Create endorsements or specific conditions,
  • Document insured details,
  • Issue and amend premiums,
  • Manage necessary actions based on activity reports (follow-ups for unsigned contracts, overdue premiums, reminders),
  • Keep Brokers/insured informed about file developments.
  • Handle receivership files: prepare cancellation notifications, renewal endorsements, and advance payment requests,
  • Provide guidance to Brokers/insured on coverage and contracts, either in person or remotely,
  • Conduct termination processes for various reasons.

Qualifications:

  • Strong writing abilities, meticulous attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills, and a proactive approach will be essential for success in this role, where interactions are frequent and varied.
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree (Insurance/Law) with prior experience in contract management, preferably in the construction insurance sector.
  • Proficiency in office software, particularly Word and Excel.
