Job Description

Eiffage Route is a leading player in the improvement of the French network, from communal roads to highway designs, covering conception, construction, and maintenance. As a Site Supervisor, you will be part of a team that contributes to the realization of urban development projects, port, airport, industrial, and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the site in coordination with the Works Supervisor and various trades.
  • Ensure construction works meet schedules and commitments undertaken.
  • Team management, including onboarding employees, temporary staff, and sub-contractors.
  • Organize and plan missions and work of teams based on site requirements and progress.
  • Support teams' professionalization and upskilling and manage HR processes within scope.
  • Encourage professional best practices and govern improper conduct.
  • Building site preparation and installation, including ensuring availability and consistency of administrative documentation.
  • Define and review construction works, acknowledging construction plans and documentation by visiting the site.
  • Establish constructions works schedule and operating procedure with the Works Supervisor.
  • Communicate necessary procedures and documentation to teams and ensure understanding.
  • Ensure equipment and materials needed to complete the site are present and available.
  • Supervise acceptance, storage, and boarding of supplies needed for site completion.
  • Monitor site construction, including supervising setup of construction, presenting site to teams, and monitoring progress of works schedule.
  • Perform technical checks during construction and decide on corrections with the Works Supervisor.
  • Monitor consumption, analyze deviations from budget forecasts, and notify the Works Supervisor.
  • Draft and communicate site report.
  • Ensure equipment and facilities are kept in good condition.
  • Ensure successful completion of each part of works, including acceptance, stop points, and feedback.
  • Ensure full completion of construction works and organize site withdrawal.
  • Participate in construction handover.
  • Collect and communicate elements needed for as-built drawing.
Requirements
  • Significant experience as a Team Leader.
  • Authorizations may be required based on position.
  • BR-B2V electrics authorization.
  • M2 mechanics authorization.
  • Authorization to intervene near networks (AIPR) + Minimum Safety Training Standards (SMS).
  • DECONTAMINATION SITE SUPERVISOR authorization for sub-section 3 asbestos building site supervision.
Environment

Reporting line: Works Supervisor.

Internal relations: Engineering Consultants (BE), Support Department, Journeymen, etc.

External relations: sub-contractors, clients, suppliers, local residents, service providers, etc.
