We are seeking a highly skilled Pre-Sales Solutions Architect to join our team at Scaleway. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise to our clients and prospects during the initial phases of their projects.
Your primary responsibilities will include engaging with technical contacts and C-level executives to build Scaleway architectures and resolve migration challenges. You will need to develop positive relationships with our customers, learn their requirements, and work to bring cloud solutions that enable their success.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and services teams to create customized presentations, demos, and proof of concepts.
- Handle and resolve technical questions and challenges encountered by clients during the first phases of their projects.
- Drive proof of concept projects to success by creating a convincing story that showcases our solution as a must-have that delivers quantifiable and tangible business value to our customers.
- Take learning from the field and feed it back to improve our products, solutions, and sales process.
- Elevate the story so that your sales team and you can pitch effectively to C-level executives and technical teams.
- Seek to understand the Cloud markets; deep dive technically in Scaleway and learn from competitors; share your knowledge with other Solution Architects and your Sales team.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience as a Technical Sales Engineer or equivalent working with customers in a B2B company.
- Experience in Cloud development, migrations, container orchestration, or applications/servers.
- Knowledge in one of the following: Infrastructure as Code, Linux system administrators, application development, Datacenter components.
- Very good command of French and English.
- Experience in data migration and large database management.
- Experience in private cloud architecture.
- Experience in negotiating complex deals.
We are based in our offices in Paris or Lille (France). Our recruitment process includes a screening call, manager interview, home assignment and presentation to the team, HR interview, and offer.
