Overview: The retail establishment associated with the Church provides essential gospel resources and sacred attire to its members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service that necessitates a thorough understanding of products to assist patrons effectively.
- Address inquiries from customers regarding educational materials, proper clothing fittings, and related topics.
- Demonstrate proficiency in cashiering alongside a solid grasp of product offerings gained through on-the-job training.
- Acquire product knowledge during an initial training phase lasting approximately one to three months.
- Stay informed about new inventory items to competently assist customers with their needs.
- Provide personalized fitting services at designated distribution centers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store, equipment, and storage areas.
- Facilitate transactions by answering questions and completing sales for selected items.
- Assist customers in ensuring the correct fit and usage of products, which may involve understanding different styles, materials, and care instructions.
- Respond to inquiries about ordering procedures and content related to educational materials.
- Operate the point-of-sale system efficiently.
- Resolve customer issues using effective service techniques.
- Support inventory management and assist with stock counts as needed.
- Serve customers in both French and English, accommodating international sizing differences.
- Contribute to the creation of appealing product displays and inventory arrangements.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in retail sales and customer service.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic math and computer skills are preferred.
- Availability to work from Tuesday to Saturday, including holidays.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both French and English.
