The Organizational Data Management Specialist will lead the development and management of an organizational repository, ensuring seamless data migration and integration for the implementation of the Workday HRIS & ERP Finance platform. This role involves coordinating between HR, Finance, IT, and other departments to ensure data accuracy, accessibility, and alignment with organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Management and Repository Creation:

  • Design repository architecture to support Workday's data needs (e.g., employee data, payroll, time tracking).
  • Structure the repository to store and manage HR data for migration to Workday.
  • Oversee data migration: cleaning, mapping, validation, and testing for a smooth transition.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:

  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, IT, and other teams to consolidate existing HR data.
  • Act as the liaison between business users, technical teams, and Workday consultants.
  • Work with HR to ensure the repository aligns with key processes and business needs.

Workday Integration:

  • Optimize repository integration with Workday, addressing features like Core HR, Payroll, and Benefits.
  • Partner with system architects to ensure smooth data flow between the repository and Workday.
  • Assist in configuring Workday modules, ensuring they align with organizational processes.

Repository Management:

  • Define and enforce processes to keep the repository updated.
  • Maintain organization of data, ensuring proper categorization and easy retrieval.
  • Implement best practices for repository structure, metadata standards, and version control.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in HRIS, ERP Finance, HR data management, or project management, preferably with Workday or a similar HRIS.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes.
  • Project management skills, including experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and tools for data manipulation (Excel, SQL, etc.).
