Transport Coordinator

Job Summary:

The Transport Specialist will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods and materials within the hospital's logistics network.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily vehicle checks and ensure all necessary documentation is in order
• Operate heavy vehicles with trailers, ensuring safe loading and unloading of goods
• Manage and maintain accurate records of transportation activities
• Collaborate with logistics team to optimize transportation routes and schedules
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on vehicles and equipment

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and experience with heavy vehicles
• Knowledge of logistics and transportation procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that require lifting and maneuvering heavy loads

Working Conditions:

• 8-hour shifts, with occasional overtime
• Rotating weekend shifts
• Exposure to varying weather conditions
