Position Overview

The Technical Compliance Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring that thermal insulation and waterproofing products within the SOPREMA portfolio meet all necessary technical standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guaranteeing product adherence to French laws and current standards, particularly European regulations, for the marketing of products.
  • Acquiring, updating, and renewing essential technical documentation required for product marketing.
  • Facilitating technical training sessions for the sales team to enhance their product knowledge.
  • Advocating for SOPREMA's interests with regulatory bodies, standardization organizations, and industry associations.

Specific Tasks Include:

  • Requesting and obtaining technical opinions or application documents, conducting new technical investigations, and securing European technical assessments.
  • Coordinating the acquisition of product certifications and approvals from relevant organizations and suppliers.
  • Drafting internal documentation necessary for product marketing and collaborating with the marketing team to develop promotional materials.

Involvement in New Product Development:

  • Leading projects within your area of expertise to drive innovation.
  • Providing technical insights and expertise to project teams.
  • Assessing market demands in relation to regulatory and technical specifications.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess a BAC+5 degree or equivalent from an engineering school, along with a minimum of three years of experience in technical roles within the construction materials sector, evaluation or technical control organizations, or mechanical/thermal engineering firms. Experience in the insulation or roofing industry is preferred.

Required Skills: Attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, technical proficiency, project management skills, teamwork orientation, and a proactive mindset.
