Key Responsibilities:- Support Investment Counsellors in the positioning and delivery of investment solutions to clients and prospects of HSBC Private Bank Luxembourg.
- Prepare account reviews and help Investment Counsellors prepare for client meetings.
- Gain strong knowledge on asset allocation and portfolio optimization.
- Be an efficient backup for Investment Counsellors in their absence.
- Pro-actively review and propose investment solutions to clients in close cooperation with Investment Counsellors.
- Perform investment initiatives, including preparation of materials for product campaigns.
- Follow up on recommendations and advise on corporate actions.
- Liaise with product specialists for bond and equity lists, research and others.
- Execute market orders in Avaloq.
- Keep up to date on the product offering by attending EMEA Sales Meetings.
- Good understanding of the private wealth management industry, macroeconomics, financial markets and various traditional and non-traditional investment products.
- Excellent organisation and communication skills.
- Multitasking abilities.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills: Excel, visual basic, PowerPoint.
- Trading experience in executing clients' orders.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Team player, high achiever, quick to learn, positive attitude.
- Keen sense of urgency, high level of professional and personal integrity.
- High capacity to handle stress.
- Masters' degree in finance, economics or equivalent.
- Previous experience within the banking industry 1 to 3 years is highly desirable.
- CFA exam or equivalent is welcome.
- Proficiency in English and French, and other languages.
