Oxford Global Resources is seeking a skilled Mechanical Project Engineer to join their team in Marseille. The successful candidate will be responsible for participating in the definition, justification, and qualification studies of intervention scenarios for specialized maintenance, installation, or modification of nuclear facilities in Europe.

The Mechanical Project Engineer will be integrated into the engineering teams and will be involved in the development of machines, tools, or special processes for complex operations integrating machining, welding, topometry, non-destructive testing, and general mechanics activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Definition of intervention strategy and tooling concepts
  • Carrying out feasibility and detail studies
  • Drafting of design, qualification, and implementation files for tooling
  • Drafting of technical documents (summary notes, functional specifications, procurement specifications, test program, test report, operating procedures, FMEA)
  • Drafting of training materials and facilitation of operator training
  • Participation in the development, acceptance, and qualification tests of tools
  • Technical support for site teams

Requirements:

  • Graduated with a Bac+5 General Engineering or equivalent
  • 3 to 8 years of successful experience
  • Fluent in written and spoken English

Location:

  • Marseille Office
  • Potential frequent trips 2 times a week for up to 1 hour 20 minutes south of France (depending on project assignment)
  • One-off trips to Chaponnay and Spain
