Job Description:
  • Support and assist elderly residents in maintaining dignity, safety, and comfort within the institution.
  • Deliver nursing care and oversee the work of aides.
  • Assist residents with daily living activities and perform necessary medical procedures.
  • Ensure residents' comfort and provide assistance with sleep-related needs.
  • Assess residents' health conditions and recognize signs of potential health issues.
  • Handle emergency situations, including instances of violence or abuse.
  • Document resident care, engage in life projects, and participate in institutional meetings.
  • Offer communication support during distressing times, end-of-life situations, and conflicts.
  • Evaluate and apply nursing care protocols in alignment with professional standards of quality and safety.
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team and provide training to fellow professionals.
  • Share knowledge with students and other healthcare practitioners.
Requirements:
  • Required Qualification: State Diploma or Psychiatric Nursing Diploma.
  • Full-time night shift: 20:30 - 6:30.
Skills:
  • Strong technical and interpersonal skills.
  • Expertise in basic care and hospital hygiene practices.
  • Excellent listening abilities, with a strong sense of responsibility and respect for hierarchy.
  • Professional diligence and independence.
  • Team-oriented with an understanding of nursing assistant roles.
  • Proficient in computer systems: GALA, Cpage, Hospital Manager.
  • Familiarity with geriatric health issues.
  • Welcoming demeanor, compassion, and commitment.
  • Passion for elderly care and involvement in quality enhancement initiatives.
