RATP EPIC is seeking a highly motivated AI Model Monitoring and Optimization Engineer to join our Laboratory of Tests and Measurements (LEM). The LEM plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of railway operations by conducting rigorous tests and measurements across various domains, including Physico-Chemistry, Electricity, and Mechanics.
As an integral member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our AI model dedicated to predicting rail temperatures. This innovative technology is essential for optimizing maintenance schedules, mitigating infrastructure risks, and ultimately contributing to a safer and more reliable railway system.
Responsibilities:- Collaborate with engineers to refine and improve the existing AI model for predicting rail temperatures.
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of model performance using regression and classification metrics to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Optimize the model's sensitivity and specificity to prevent unnecessary maintenance interventions while effectively identifying potential risks.
- Enhance the transparency and robustness of the model by characterizing temperature prediction ranges and exploring potential revisions to the neural architecture.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience working with AI models, including LSTM and Random Forests.
