Machine Learning Research Engineer

The Hi PARIS Center is seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Research Engineer to join its Engineering Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing machine learning algorithms in various fields and deploying models on GitHub or Hugging Face.
Main Responsibilities- Develop machine learning algorithms in NLP, Image, Sound, Signal, Economy, and other fields.
- Deploy models on GitHub or Hugging Face.
- Use scientific computing infrastructure and software.
- Collect, build, and tailor large datasets for training machine learning models.
- Collaborate with professors and researchers from HEC Paris, IP Paris schools, and INRIA Saclay.
- Support teaching through student events, such as the Hickathon, Summer School, and Data Bootcamp.
- Advise AI Startups on AI models and infrastructure.
- Work on Societal projects, such as projects with the association DataForGood.
- Knowledge of data science, algorithmic processing, and AI model deployment.
- Proficiency in computer languages, such as Python, C++, and R.
- Knowledge of machine learning tools, such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, and PyTorch.
- Professional experience in software development, ideally in data science.
- Fluency in French and English, written and oral.
- Knowledge of a technology sector, ideally related to artificial intelligence and data.
- Appetite for teaching data science and pedagogy.
- Data Engineering best practices.
