Pricing Actuary

We are seeking a skilled Pricing Actuary to join our team at Wakam. As a Pricing Actuary, you will be responsible for providing expertise on large-scale, pan-European tender issues. You will work closely with our Head of Pre-Sales within the Product & Pricing Office to develop and implement pricing strategies for our insurance products.
Key Responsibilities- Lead technical studies to respond to tender offers.
- Conduct risk analysis and pricing studies for the development of new property and casualty insurance products.
- Present the results of your analyses to the product director and validation committees for new opportunities.
- Collaborate with commercial teams on revaluation and portfolio adjustments that require special monitoring.
- Assist the commercial division in client presentations or revaluation actions.
- Provide technical recommendations for product creation and evolution, as well as designing management tools and methods.
- You have a degree in Actuarial Science (or equivalent) such as a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or Actuarial Studies.
- You have experience in non-life insurance pricing (IARD).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as R, Python, SAS is essential.
- You are organized, detail-oriented, and recognized for your curiosity and strong analytical and synthesis skills.
- Fluency in English (both spoken and written) is required.
