Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Engineer to join our team in the Safety pole of the ESFIS service, Combat System Engineering SETIS 3.0. As a Safety Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting safety studies in relation to domain specialists and equipment suppliers, and will work on complex systems with predominant software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and conducting safety studies of predominant software systems, in the context of national and international programs.
  • Acting as an advisor to Architects and System Managers for the conduct of functional security analyses at the system and software component levels.
  • Contributing to relationships with clients and suppliers (negotiations, result presentations, proposals...).
  • Initiating and monitoring subcontracted studies.
  • Improving the Naval Group SAFETY reference framework with the aim of optimizing costs and production deadlines for client deliverables.

Requirements:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Safety Engineer who has developed skills in functional safety of complex systems and in the application of security standards. You should have a strong background in functional analysis, risk analysis, and analysis tools, and be able to work autonomously and as part of a team. You should also be fluent in English and able to carry out short missions in France and abroad.

Education and Experience:

We require a graduate of a Bac+5 Engineering level or equivalent, with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role. You should have a strong understanding of computer science, information systems, and telecommunications, and be able to apply your knowledge to complex systems with predominant software.
