Your Role

This position encompasses dual responsibilities as a Strategy Consultant and Data Science Analyst (entry-level).

You will engage in a variety of projects, including:

  • Strategic initiatives (e.g., strategic due diligence, market opportunity assessments, comprehensive strategic planning) related to data and AI or independent of them.
  • Data and AI strategy projects (e.g., developing data roadmaps aligned with business strategies, establishing Responsible AI governance).
  • Implementation of data use cases (industrialized products), often involving data science modeling, machine learning, and advanced data processing and visualization.
  • Advanced data analytics projects (e.g., thorough analysis of complex datasets such as energy market order book data).

Following an onboarding phase and under the mentorship of partners and experienced consultants, you will join a project team and contribute to addressing our clients' most pressing challenges.

Your Responsibilities

Your tasks will include:

  • Structuring, analyzing, and resolving problems.
  • Conducting interviews and market research.
  • Translating data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Identifying, scoping, and prioritizing use cases.
  • Collecting and processing data using scraping technologies.
  • Preparing both structured and unstructured data.
  • Selecting appropriate models to address specific problems.
  • Implementing machine learning algorithms and optimizations.
  • Extracting insights and effectively communicating findings.
  • Writing code to industry standards to ensure proper implementation.
  • Creating valuable data products and visualizations.

Position Details

This is a permanent position (CDI) with a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

  • MSc in General Engineering, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Applied Statistics, or Mathematics.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL.
  • Experience in developing data science solutions for business challenges.
  • Strong analytical skills and business insight.
  • Familiarity with statistical modeling and machine learning techniques.
  • Knowledge of the data technology landscape is advantageous: NoSQL, container technologies (Docker), cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure), Gitlab.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly in English and French.
