Job Summary
Bertrandt is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our Automobile department in the Electronics and Electrical team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing the electrical and electronic systems of vehicles, from architecture to testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze problems encountered by clients during vehicle development, investigating causes of failures or defects.
- Prepare test equipment and software, including realignment of hardware and software, and setup of instrumentation for testing.
- Conduct specific investigation tests, including troubleshooting and debugging.
- Monitor vehicle testing and analyze data acquisitions.
- Analyze vehicle defects, follow software evolutions, debug software, and assist with testing, production, and client networks.
- Debug engine and transmission testing, including calibration adaptation.
- Write test and investigation reports, anomaly detection reports, and test summaries.
- Report on your activities.
- Travel to various client sites and within the company network to analyze and resolve development-related issues.
- Propose improvements to processes, procedures, and tools within the technical scope.
Requirements
- Hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role in the automotive sector.
- Have solid mechanical skills in engine or transmission development.
- Be proficient in using tools such as CANalyzer, DDT 2000, INCA, MDA, and Concerto.
- Be a good communicator, have a team-oriented mindset, and be recognized for your seriousness and rigor.
- Work regularly in English.
