We are currently seeking a Solutions Engineer.Role Summary:
The Solutions Engineer will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Entrust Digital Card Solution (DCS), acting as a trusted technical advisor during customer onboarding. This position is part of the Entrust Professional Services team, engaging throughout the customer onboarding lifecycle, from initial setup to ongoing support. The role involves interfacing with clients, leveraging both technical and business acumen to implement customized solutions within their operational frameworks. Collaboration with sales and pre-sales teams will be essential to evaluate customer needs and provide insights to R&D and product management for ongoing enhancements. This is a customer-facing role focused on ensuring successful onboarding experiences.Key Responsibilities:
Act as the technical advisor to clients during the implementation phase, closely coordinating with project managers. Assist clients in the development, integration, deployment, and installation of DCS products within their systems. Work alongside project management teams to ensure timely delivery of projects. Support project managers on technical aspects, including integration within client ecosystems and mobile application development through SDK and APIs. Lead the resolution of deployment challenges during project phases and coordinate escalations to Product and R&D teams as necessary. Utilize helpdesk software to manage tickets and create knowledgebase articles. Provide training and support to clients, primarily through remote means, with occasional on-site visits, focusing on SDK and API integration in mobile/web banking applications. Develop user manuals and project-specific training materials. Configure client environments within the Entrust cloud infrastructure. Proactively propose enhancements to implementation processes and tools, as well as integration of new Entrust products or features. Adhere to project schedules and budgetary constraints. Assess the impact of new DCS releases and features on client implementation processes.Required Qualifications:
Initial experience in mobile application software development. Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related discipline. Proficiency in English; a second language (French, Spanish, or Arabic) is required. Strong customer-facing skills. Enthusiasm for technology and innovation, with a desire to learn. Experience serving as an escalation point for complex customer inquiries.Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with tokenization and associated platforms. Experience in financial payment technologies. Knowledge of cloud deployment processes. Proficiency in Mobile SDK, web services, and APIs. Conduct on-site installations and integrations of Datacard solutions, fostering strong relationships with clients. Provide guidance and knowledge transfer to ensure clients achieve self-sufficiency with their Datacard solutions. Assist clients with post-deployment challenges and identify new opportunities. Support customer service teams in resolving technical issues. Conduct software testing and work with toolkits and SDKs. Troubleshoot issues related to servers, networks, operating systems, databases, and hardware.About Entrust:
