About the Mission
The Relocation Officer will be responsible for the successful relocation of 25 families under the ANRU2 program.
They will work closely with the Director of Housing Management to achieve this goal, ensuring that all procedures are followed and deadlines are met.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as knowledge of housing regulations and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
• Meet with individual families at their homes or at the office to:
• Provide information on the urban renewal program
• Update family situation and resource data
• Gather family preferences for relocation
• Create a file on the current living situation, furniture, and occupation of the families to be relocated
Requirements
The successful candidate will possess:
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Knowledge of housing regulations and procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Discretion, discernment, and fairness in treating existing tenants
