About the Role

As a Medical Information Technician, you will work in collaboration with our existing Information Medical Technician and under the functional supervision of the DIM doctor.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Organizing and ensuring the management of medical information within the establishment, adhering to confidentiality rules related to the type of information handled, using or implementing adapted technical and material means.
  • Acting as a liaison and pivot between the DIM and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Providing pedagogical support to healthcare staff in the use of materials and appropriation of ministerial directives related to medical information.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Collecting and transmitting the RIMP.
  • Treating epidemiological databases.
  • Assisting in the drafting of annual activity reports.
  • Creating internal or external statistics, dashboards, and performance management tools.
  • Participating in the training of multidisciplinary teams on medical information and RIMP.
  • Ensuring the proper functioning of the patient's electronic file and the S.I.H.

Requirements

  • Mastering basic database tools, such as Access, BO, Power BI, and SharePoint.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and advanced PowerPoint and Outlook functions.
  • Familiarity with the hospital environment and DIM's information technology tools (Magic, Pivoine).

Desirable Skills

  • Familiarity with RIMPSY coding rules.
  • Understanding of the patient's journey and assisting/contributing to users.
  • Managing the evolution of patient file parameterization.
  • Taking charge and mastering the patient's electronic file, performing a first diagnostic on any issue, extracting and prioritizing relevant information from the patient's file, identifying transmission chain data dysfunctions, and analyzing errors or anomalies in PMSI (coding) data.
  • Creating statistical requests using the Business Object extraction tool.
  • Drafting and updating procedures and operating modes.
  • Performing quality and exhaustivity controls on databases through queries.
  • Performing RIMP information coding control.
  • Following up with services for incomplete files.
  • Using business software.
  • Using the patient management administrative software in conjunction with the patient's electronic file.
  • Respecting data confidentiality.
