At ENGIE Global Energy Management & Sales, we are seeking a skilled Trading Surveillance Expert to join our team. This role is part of the Risk Expertise Center and will be responsible for designing, developing, and operating trading surveillance solutions to prevent and report suspicion of market manipulation.

About the Role:

  • Develop a global trading surveillance system to integrate data and recognize market manipulation.
  • Create prototype alerts and industrialize them in the core big data surveillance tool.
  • Investigate and escalate automated daily alerts, and perform spot checks on trading practices.
  • Contribute to awareness and guidelines on best practices for regulatory developments and business changes.
  • Analyze and validate algorithmic trading tools and strategies.

Requirements:

  • Excellent analytical and practical ability to analyze multiple data sources and understand markets, products, and trading strategies.
  • Good Python coding skills and experience with office tools and database management.
  • First experience in Energy markets or Market Conduct regulations or Trading surveillance activities is a plus.
