Risk Analyst - Early DetectionWe are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Risk Analyst to join our Early Detection team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in identifying and assessing potential risks within our portfolio, contributing to the overall stability and resilience of our operations.
Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough investigations into Early Detection alerts, meticulously analyzing data to determine the nature and severity of potential risks.
- Develop tailored action plans to mitigate identified risks, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to implement effective solutions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our Early Detection tools by leveraging both structured and unstructured data. Work closely with credit analysts and modeling teams to enhance our risk identification capabilities.
- Participate in meetings and discussions related to Early Warning systems, sharing your insights and expertise to contribute to a proactive risk management approach.
- Prepare reports for IFRS 9 committees, providing valuable analysis on geographical and sectoral vulnerability zones.
- Engage in automation projects aimed at streamlining processes within the Early Detection team or credit analyst functions.
- Conduct ad hoc studies and projects as required, addressing regulatory changes, ECB requests, audit missions, risk measurement methodologies, stress tests, presentations, and departmental needs.
- Master's degree or higher in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in credit analysis, risk management, or auditing within the financial services industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to identify patterns and trends in complex data sets.
- Proficiency in financial analysis fundamentals and a solid understanding of risk assessment methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues across different departments.
- Fluency in English is essential.
