Opportunity Overview

OpenText is a leading provider of software-based solutions for enterprise information management. We are seeking an experienced Employment Counsel to join our EMEA team, reporting to the Legal Director, Employment, EMEA and APJ.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive legal support across the spectrum of employment law for our operations in Europe, Middle East, and Africa.
  • Contribute to shaping a positive and legally compliant work environment for our employees globally.
  • Manage employment litigation, pre-litigation disputes, and advise on international HR matters.
  • Collaborate with local HR teams, external legal counsel, and multiple works councils/employee representative bodies across various European countries.

Requirements

  • 2+ years PQE with a focus on international individual and collective employment laws.
  • Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, and able to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Fluency in English; German language skills a plus.
