Company Overview:
Our client is a key player in the automotive industry, focusing on the development of battery cells and modules for electric vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform supplier assessments in accordance with internal standards and IATF 16949 regulations.
- Implement necessary corrective measures to address quality issues.
- Collaborate with the Purchasing team to evaluate and select suppliers.
- Ensure product quality aligns with IATF 16949 standards.
- Oversee the deployment of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and validate Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).
- Utilize run at rate methodology to ensure effective ramp-up processes.
- Manage and resolve non-conformities efficiently.
- Develop and propose plans for continuous improvement and corrective actions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Extensive experience within the automotive sector.
- Certification in VDA 6.3 and/or IATF 16949, with proficiency in English.
Essential Skills:
- Expertise in conducting and leading audits.
- Proficient in core quality tools including APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, and FMEA.
- Strong supplier management skills utilizing methodologies such as 8D and 5 Whys.
- Familiarity with automotive standards: VDA 6.3 and IATF 16949.
