About the Position

We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team at the Institut Curie, a leading research center in the field of cancer research. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a cutting-edge project focused on understanding the mechanisms of genome stability in response to replication perturbations.

Research Project

The research project aims to decipher the role of nuclear architecture in maintaining genome stability in response to replication stress. Our team has identified the nuclear pore complex as a key player in promoting replication fork repair in yeast. The successful candidate will investigate the spatial specification of replication fork integrity pathways and determine whether all nuclear compartments have the same capacity to preserve genome stability in response to replication perturbations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement innovative proteomic and genomic approaches to study replication fork integrity pathways
  • Investigate the role of nuclear architecture in maintaining genome stability in response to replication stress
  • Collaborate with the research team to analyze and interpret data
  • Present research findings at international conferences and publish in top-tier scientific journals
Requirements
  • PhD in biology, cellular biology, or related areas
  • Experience in yeast genetics, molecular cell biology, and proteomics
  • Strong scientific expertise in the field of genome stability
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Fluency in English and French (desirable)
