At Uni Systems, we are dedicated to transforming digital aspirations into tangible outcomes. We are expanding our operations and are in search of a Lead Network Solutions Engineer to become a vital part of our innovative team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and sustain configurations for data communication networks.
- Design, evaluate, and deploy network software and hardware solutions.
- Conduct troubleshooting of network issues using analyzers and diagnostic tools.
- Manage network-related documentation, including development, updates, and reviews.
- Set up and implement network monitoring and management systems.
- Establish and oversee network security measures.
- Plan for network capacity and assess network usage.
- Review existing network software and suggest enhancements based on industry best practices.
- Analyze log files, traces, and dumps for performance insights.
- Collaborate with vendors providing network services and equipment.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A Master's degree is required.
- A minimum of 9 years of relevant professional experience in areas such as:
- DNS and IP management, LAN protocols (e.g., Spanning Tree Protocol, VLAN trunking).
- TCP/IP, RIP, OSF, BGP, and/or EIGRP.
- WAN network architectures and hardware (e.g., MPLS, Private Line).
- Network Management tools (e.g., IXIA, netflow).
- Possession of at least one of the following certifications is advantageous:
- Network (Cisco Certified Network Professional/CCNP or equivalent).
- IT Service Management/ITSM qualifications (IT Infrastructure Library/ITIL-ITILV3ISO/IEC 20000 or equivalent).
- Advanced understanding of principles, practices, and procedures related to Local and Wide Area Networks (LAN/WAN).
- Expertise in network configurations.
- Extensive knowledge of Internet-Protocol based LAN/WAN administration, including Cisco ACI.
- Familiarity with Fortinet Firewall/VPN/load balancer configuration and troubleshooting (Cisco, Stonegate, F5 products are a plus).
- Advanced skills in network configuration and troubleshooting, covering DNS, VLAN, IP routing, LAN, WAN, and Site-to-Site VPN.
- Ability to conduct network capacity planning.
- Strong knowledge of network security and management of security devices.
- Comprehensive understanding of encryption at the network layer and associated protocols (SSL/TLS, IPSEC, etc.).
- Expertise in load balancing, firewalls, switches (L2/L3), redundancy, and IP addressing concepts.
- Advanced skills in installation, deployment, and backup/recovery of network device configurations.
- Capability to create, modify, and review documentation and technical specifications related to network infrastructures.
- Expertise in network design, capacity planning, and monitoring.
- Understanding of common network topologies and cabling technologies (fiber/copper, ethernet, etc.).
- Experience in deploying IPv6 networks.
- Proficiency in English at a C1 level.
