Senior SAP Expert in Accounting, Cost Accounting & Controlling (d/f/m)

The new ERP initiative is not merely an upgrade of our existing SAP framework to the latest version, SAP S4/HANA. This represents a comprehensive transformation program aimed at re-evaluating our processes, methodologies, and tools to collaboratively establish a future-ready and sustainable infrastructure that enables more efficient operations for our personnel, clients, suppliers, and business units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the Finance team, contributing to the evolution and digital transformation of the finance domain
  • Oversee Finance Systems, particularly in designing and maintaining our SAP processes as part of the new S/4 HANA initiative at the forefront of innovation
  • Support the business in revolutionizing operational methods by leveraging SAP S/4 FI/CO solutions, ensuring alignment with the overarching Airbus Group Finance Strategy
  • Engage in full project lifecycle activities within finance: from conceptualization to implementation
  • Lead and/or facilitate cross-functional project teams across Finance, Logistics, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Information Management, ensuring Governance and Compliance
  • Ensure the ongoing stability, reliability, quality, and performance of Airbus Finance Systems
  • Anticipate system developments and recommend enhancements

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong finance and technical background, with experience in project management and a keen interest in systems and emerging technologies
  • Proficient in English, with good command of German
  • In-depth understanding of Business Processes in Finance, particularly in Cost Accounting and Controlling, Procure to Pay, Manufacturing, and Logistics, along with their integration implications in a unified system
  • Experience in Full cycle SAP FI-CO / PS implementation Projects, with a curiosity to introduce innovative ideas
  • Additional expertise in Logistics and Manufacturing SAP modules (MM-IV, PP, and SD)

This role may require security clearance or eligibility for clearance by recognized authorities.
