Job Description
We are seeking a Cosmetic Quality Control Laboratory Technician (Cosmetic Quality Controller) to join our teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of cosmetic products, from reception and handling to release and archiving.
Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Ensuring the reception and handling of bulks and finished products to be checked
- Carrying out all quality controls on bulks and finished products in compliance with processes, established specifications, and defined deadlines
- Participating in the release of batches in accordance with specifications with quality study managers
- Ensuring the recording and archiving of bulk and finished product controls
- Managing the renewal of standards and other control elements during the marketing of products on the market
- Carrying out the storage and archiving of bulks and finished products
- Ensuring order, storage, and cleanliness of the quality laboratory and the Standard sample library
- Setting up, at the request of quality study managers, approval tests during product development
- Participating and implementing quality control techniques to define the different control protocols (color indicators, range of defects, templates, measuring devices)
- Identifying, recording non-conformities, and alerting the relevant quality study manager for analysis of the causes and proposals for corrective actions
- Participating in continuous improvement by evolving business processes
- Ensuring the application of quality assurance rules
- Intervening and alerting in the event of a situation or anomaly likely to harm or disrupt the proper functioning of the company
- Applying and enforcing the ISO 22716 Standard, the requirements, and procedures in place
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a Bac+2/Bac+3 degree in quality control or chemistry, with initial experience in a similar position in the cosmetics field. They will be organized, autonomous, rigorous, and have good interpersonal skills, as well as good critical thinking skills. Proficiency in IT tools (Word, Excel, etc.) is also required.
