Analysis Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Analysis Project Engineer (Pipeline Installation) to join our team at Subsea7, a global leader in the delivery of offshore projects and services for the energy industry. Our team is responsible for the analysis and installation of pipelines, and we are looking for an expert who can contribute to our success.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform detailed feasibility studies and installation analyses, considering all associated risks and ensuring that all safety rules are considered for various operations such as pipe laying, riser installation, and pipeline structure in line installation.
- Determine and optimize operations installation steps, laying methods determination (S-Lay, J-Lay, reeling).
- Ensure the quality of analyses and respect of planning.
- Interface with associated subsea related disciplines and understand the interfaces within a project environment.
- Provide engineering support during operations with occasional periods offshore.
- Ensure all relevant safety objectives and legal requirements are observed.
- Participate actively in the PG department know-how consolidation.
- Propose innovative solutions allowing cost & risks reduction.
- Experience with Finite Element Analysis methods.
- Good knowledge of beam theory and Physics of Material.
- Demonstrable familiarity with relevant software such as Orcaflex, Abaqus, Python, VBA, etc.
- Good communication skills and ability to speak with a variety of stakeholders and who is comfortable working on their own and as part of a team.
- Good report writing skills with the ability to self-check and produce accurate work, as well as the ability to prioritize and organize your work accordingly to meet deadlines set by management.
- This role may involve short spells of overseas travel, so candidates may need to show a willingness and flexibility.
