This position oversees the product management division and the strategic planning and execution of the product vision across the entire Capijobnew suite of offerings. You will collaborate closely with the Chief Product Officer to shape the product and business strategy, leading various teams of product leaders to implement that vision.

Your responsibilities will include managing the product roadmap and ensuring its successful delivery, driving significant business outcomes throughout the organization. You will adopt a customer-centric approach, consistently fostering clarity within product teams and across engineering, design, and external partners such as product marketing. You will adeptly navigate critical prioritization decisions and provide clarity to the product management team during periods of uncertainty and transition.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Product Vision and Strategy
    1. Define and manage the comprehensive product roadmap; establish and achieve OKRs and KPIs aligned with organizational objectives.
    2. Collaborate with the CPO to articulate the product and business strategy, deeply understanding customer needs and market dynamics to identify product opportunities and drive growth.
    3. Contribute to strategic considerations at the company level, including new market prospects, KPIs, and product development methodologies.
    4. Influence executive team members towards improved business outcomes using critical data, customer insights, and relevant expertise.
    5. Balance long-term opportunities and risks with immediate execution priorities.
    6. Work closely with the Director of Product Strategy to support product pricing, packaging, and market entry strategies.
  2. Product Implementation
    1. Partner with program management, engineering, and design leaders to establish processes that empower the organization to deliver impactful results efficiently.
    2. Oversee the delivery and stewardship of the product and platform, representing all target customers and regions.
    3. Manage stakeholder communications across the organization and within the executive team.
    4. Collaborate with Product Marketing leadership to define and execute growth strategies that integrate product-led growth with digital marketing initiatives.
  3. Leadership & Communication
    1. Recognized as an inspiring leader by cross-functional teams within the organization.
    2. Occasionally lead significant company initiatives that extend beyond the product roadmap.
    3. Communicate effectively to internal audiences of varying sizes, enhancing clarity, alignment, and momentum within the organization.
    4. Set the standard for the quality and frequency of both written and verbal communication.
    5. Support team members as needed, providing valuable insights to cross-functional and executive stakeholders.
  4. Team Development
    1. Build and lead a team of Group Product Managers and Senior Product Managers.
    2. Enhance the quality of work across the entire Product, Design, and Engineering organization.
    3. Demonstrate thoughtful management of team members, fostering their development and supporting their career trajectories.
    4. Identify new market opportunities, develop business cases to support investment, and lead cross-functional teams to execute plans.
Qualifications:
  1. 10+ years of experience in Product/Project Management, collaborating effectively with engineering, design, and user research teams.
  2. 5+ years of experience in hiring, managing, and developing both individual contributors and senior leaders.
  3. Proven ability to navigate complex, technical, cross-functional projects from inception to completion.
  4. Experience working closely with product development teams, including familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
  5. Ability to articulate a defined strategy and build consensus among diverse stakeholders.
  6. Exceptional communication and writing skills.
  7. Capacity to manage multiple, competing priorities and projects with meticulous attention to detail.
  8. Problem-solving mindset with the ability to delve into complex topics.
  9. Experience in critical thinking and analytical leadership.
  10. Experience presenting to senior executive audiences.
  11. Experience in building or leading SaaS or mobile products.
  12. BA/BS in Computer Science or a related field.
