Job Description

**About the Role**

Action contre la Faim is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Department Coordinator to join our team in the Libéralités and Philanthropie department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of our fundraising strategy and building strong relationships with our donors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement Fundraising Strategy: Define and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to achieve our annual targets, including identifying new donor prospects and developing targeted campaigns.
  • Build and Maintain Donor Relationships: Foster strong relationships with our existing donors, including major donors, and identify new opportunities for growth and development.
  • Manage Donor Communications: Develop and implement effective communication strategies to engage with our donors, including regular updates, reports, and recognition.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with our marketing, communications, and events teams to ensure a cohesive and effective fundraising strategy.
  • Manage Budget and Resources: Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and resource plans to ensure effective use of resources and achieve fundraising targets.
  • Monitor and Evaluate Performance: Track and analyze fundraising performance, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address any challenges.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field, with a minimum of 6 years of experience in fundraising, donor relations, or a related field.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required.
  • Skills and Competencies: Strong communication, interpersonal, and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
