We are in search of a skilled Project Coordinator.

The Vanatome facility is dedicated to the design, production, marketing, after-sales support, and maintenance in sectors such as energy, military nuclear, and civil nuclear (specifically valve manufacturing).

In this role, you will oversee a range of products associated with various clients, focusing on projects in the United Kingdom.

Your primary responsibility is to ensure client satisfaction and maintain long-term financial success for the product portfolio under your supervision.

Your responsibilities will include:

Project Development:

  • Strategize, develop, and execute the program to fulfill the agreed contractual obligations with clients, adhering to budgetary and scheduling requirements.
  • Lead and coordinate a cross-functional team to achieve objectives related to your product portfolio (Quality, Costs, Timelines).
  • Identify essential resources and facilitate their integration with other departments.
  • Foster team cohesion around a shared mission and operational framework.
  • Recognize and evaluate risks and opportunities with the assistance of your cross-functional team.
  • Detect potential deviations early and implement proactive corrective measures.
  • Identify contractual discrepancies under client responsibility, formulate claims, and actively engage in negotiations.
  • Establish and maintain necessary communication channels to keep clients informed about program developments or challenges.
  • Utilize the SeeDLaunch framework and PMI program management methodologies to achieve established objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with the program management process.

Series Management:

  • Communicate client requirements and changes to the relevant departments.
  • Coordinate and liaise with clients during crisis situations to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Ensure supplier agreements enable us to meet our contractual commitments to clients.
  • Identify potential claims and support the Purchasing team in negotiations.
  • Conduct operational reviews with clients.
  • Identify areas for profitability enhancement with the cross-functional team, outline corresponding actions, and ensure their execution.
  • Assist in cost analysis and cost reduction initiatives for client products.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Serve as the primary liaison between clients and internal Vanatome functions.
  • Organize and conduct relevant reviews with clients to report on progress and address any ongoing issues or obstacles.
  • Negotiate internally and with clients in the best interest of the company while maintaining a positive client relationship.
  • Be proactive and advocate for Vanatome's interests with clients and vice versa.
  • Support the sales team in pre-sales, sales, and contract management activities.
  • Communicate pertinent information regarding client strategies to the sales team to assist in developing our services.
  • Respond to requests for proposals.
  • Coordinate the preparation of quotes from various departments.
  • Establish a preliminary Work Breakdown Structure in accordance with the SeeDLaunch framework.
  • Identify Risks and Opportunities, define mitigation strategies, and quantify associated financial risks.
  • Ensure and monitor the decision to initiate the development phase.
  • Verify that all necessary elements are in place.

Leading a Cross-Functional Team:

  • Be accountable for key program metrics and provide reports on them.
  • Thoroughly assess task and project durations and challenges.
  • Set clear objectives.
  • Delegate tasks for each phase of the process.
  • Define timelines and responsibilities for each team member.
  • Monitor Risks and Opportunities: identify risks, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure their completion, identify opportunities, and implement actions to maximize them.
  • Evaluate outcomes.
  • Negotiate with internal and external stakeholders of the organization.

With a degree in Business or General Engineering, you should possess a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a comparable role, ideally within the nuclear sector.

Proficiency in English is essential.
