Role Overview:
As a Certified Nuclear Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting inspections in compliance with ASME and NBIC Codes, adhering to the Pressure Equipment Directive and various international standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform inspection services for holders of French Nuclear CoA's.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant codes and standards.
Qualifications:
Education Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- National Board card with "AI" Commission, including R and N endorsements.
Education Desired:
- Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- International Welding Engineer certification.
Experience Required:
- Minimum of 6 months engineering experience.
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience.
Experience Desired:
- 3 years of mechanical engineering work experience.
Technical Skills Required:
- In-depth knowledge of Pressure Equipment construction Codes (e.g., ASME, harmonized standards, international standards, and PED).
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, with strong communication skills.
Technical Skills Desired:
- Level I / II or III certifications in various NDE techniques (e.g., RT, PT, MT, VT).
- National Board B and NS endorsements.
Additional Skills:
- Strong team player with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes applications.
