Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop engaging RPG systems, including character stats, progression, skills, classes, and abilities, within the Unity engine.
- Develop a long-term strategic plan for ARPG content design, live operations, and content releases.
- Manage and mentor RPG designers, guiding their career development through goal setting, performance reviews, and mentorship.
- Partner with the ARPG team to ensure clear team responsibilities and effective roadmapping.
- Analyze gameplay data metrics to understand player behavior and identify areas for improvement.
- Analyze player feedback and engagement metrics to iterate and refine the ARPG experience.
- Design and build script mechanics for abilities using Unity.
- Share knowledge and best practices with junior team members and other disciplines to foster professional growth.
- 7+ years of experience in the video games industry, with a proven track record.
- Experience leading game designers on a live-service title.
- Experience driving roadmaps and planning for live-service content delivery.
- Experience designing playable characters (or similar elements) on a shipped title.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for ARPGs.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Solid experience with Unity development, including scripting.
- Familiarity with top mobile titles and current market trends within the ARPG genre.
